Wake Up Call!
We all know it and its true!

Plastics are non-biodegradable..extremely harmful and are are soon going to suffocate us. Well this is one side of the story. We the reporters at CSE carried out a survey and interviewed manufacturers as well as the consumers. After the survey and research we realised that plastic is not all bad. In fact it has its positive uses too. It is useful in the field of healthcare, agriculture, conservation of water. So I guess we are incomplete without plastics. But on the other hand, while we might not be able to imagine life without plastics, we have to live with plastics’ responsibility. It is not only the manufacterers and the consumers that are responsible, it's also time the government woke up from its deep slumber. The government should pass laws that impose penalties on the manufacters and consumers to take care of the waste that is generated and its toxicity thereafter.

Recycled statues

Collin Beckman, senior class president of American Embassy school, came up with a unique idea on how to dispose the light plastic bottles that even ragpickers do not seem to want. He actually collected all the plastic bottles in school, and put together several statues.
