HIGH TIGER
No, not Saurav Ganguly visiting Kalimpong.  But the real Royal Bengal Tiger Pugmarks have been found at an amazing height of 11,000 feet in the Neora Valley National Park, the Highest recorded presence of the endangered Royal Bengal tigers anywhere in the world.

 

MOTH INTERESTING
Believe it or not!  The area along the Teesta river had one of the highest number of moth and butterfly species.  According to experts, it equalled the Amazon count.  Now this biodiversity hotspot faces all kinds of human pressure.  Something has to be done soon to stop this trend.
