There are more than 100,000 indigenous rice varieties in India. If you wanted to eat a different variety of rice each day and never repeat it, you would be able to do it for around 274 years. Now that is about the richness of India’s biodiversity.
The sound levels produced by fire crackers are between 145 to 160 dB (decibels) at the ear of a person standing 2 meter from it. This is equivalent to the levels produced by a rifle (155dB), pistol (160dB) at the ear of the gunman.
