recycling used computers to fill potholes on city streets and to make industrial-grade
flooring. The chips are salvaged and resold for use inside handheld games and electronic

TRANSMITTING TURTLE
Chandra is the first sea turtle in India to be watched from space. In April,
Chandra was released into the Bay of Bengal by wildlife biologists with a
satellite transmitter fitted on its back, to track its movements in the ocean. These sea
faring creatures roam far and wide. |
