Come the windy season and we see colourful kites in the sky. So how can your kite be different from the others? You can make your own eco-friendly kite by using materials that are easily available in our house.

You will need one page of newspaper. Take another stick from the broom and bend it as shown in the diagram.
Fold the paper as shown in the figure. Paste the second stick perpendicular to the earlier one.
Cut out the unfolded section of the newspaper.  You can also decorate it with
 colourful paper that you must have
 used in your crafts period. Make
 long strips and stick them to the tail
 end of the kite.
Now we are left with a square.  Your kite is ready to race through the sky.

Take a stick out of a broom and paste it across the newspaper using paper strips and glue as shown in the figure.
Now the spine of the kite is ready.
