Dear Gobar Times Readers,

p63.jpg (12605 bytes)Thirsty? I am not very thirsty nowadays. You know why? No water coming to my house these days. So I thought it is better not to be thirsty. A tanker comes with water every day in the evening. But it is becoming very expensive. My neighbour, he gets water in a bottle. Everytime your water gets over, the bottled water company sends 20 litres more. Of course, it costs more than what we get in our taps but what to do when no water?

Hari Prasad told me yesterday that these bottled water is also full of bad poisonous things. Tests have been done on it that show that it is almost same to same with (or even more bad then) tap water. And why this water shortage? Day by day this water table is going down. Isn’t drinking the most important use of water? I learnt that more than 70 per cent of fresh water is used for irrigation, and because of being badly used, most of this water does not reach the roots of plants! Industries not only use so much water but also throw a lot of their poisonous rubbish into our rivers and they also spoil our underground water. I am just praying to god.
