Eco-clubs in Jaipur


TARU MITRA, ST. XAVIER'S SCHOOL:
Encourages students to know more about the environment. Running successfully in St. Xavier’s School, Jaipur and is being co-ordinated by Father Robert Athickal in Patna. Organises environmental quizzes, extempores and various activities besides taking tours to famous national parks.

greenbri.jpg Green Brigade, M.G.D. GIRLS SCHOOL: Started by students. 14 members. Conducted quizzes, painting, essay writing, debate and drawing competitions in different schools of Jaipur. Branches in Mumbai and Dubai. Aim? To ban plastic, save trees, save environment, conserve water, wildlife and electricity and to stop pollution. Finally to recycle, reuse and reduce.
