SPECIAL EDITION
Take twenty-two 12 to 14-year-olds into the pink city,
let them investigate, click, draw and design, introduce them to people, and voila, you
have a great special edition of Gobar Times ready!! INTACH, Jaipur and The Centre for
Science and Environment (CSE), New Delhi organised the Gobar Times Media Workshop to
introduce children to environment, crafts, artisans and monuments of the Walled City.

 Our pink city was not pink.
It was yellow. Then just for experiment it was painted in blue, green, black, white, peach
and dark pink and finally when Prince Albert came here in 1877 A.D, it was painted in a
lighter shade of pink.
