THEY SAID.
Oshima (Japan)
GT: What do you think about climate change?
Oshima: It is a very serious problem and world should unanimously do
something about it and that would help in this matter.
GT: Maam, What do you think about Kyoto Protocol? Do you agree with
it or not?
Oshima: I agree with it, as it is very necessary for the protection of
the world against climate change.
Peter Grahm (Canada)
GT: Sir, what is your countrys stand on Kyoto Protocol?
Peter: It is very important. It is important for reducing emissions and
for both developed and undeveloped countries.
GT: Sir, what is your stand on climate change?
Peter: The science on climate change may not be agreed by all the
countries so it is a big problem. It is still a very important issue.
Mr Wolf (Germany)
GT: Sir, what is your stand on climate change?
Wolf: Everybody is affected and probably the people of the developed and
undeveloped countries should unanimously do something about it and probably the developing
countries are affected by it.
GT: Sir, do you think that the Kyoto Protocol would help in this matter?
Wolf: It is very reputed but still USA did not sign it.
Ms Neelam (India)
GT: Maam, what is your stand on climate change?
Neelam: It is a very serious problem, climates are changing, winters are
delayed, and short and the summers are long. There are droughts, floods in many parts of
the world because of the global warming.
GT: Maam, what do you think about Kyoto protocol?
Neelam: Not all the countries signed on it and it may not be that useful
in the matter.
Ms Monica Engheben (Switzerland)
GT: Maam, what is your stand on the climate change?
Monica: It is a very bad problem and the developed and developing
countries should together do something about it.
GT: Maam, what do you think about Kyoto Protocol?
Monica: It is good but not enough, it is the first step against the
problem and we should do more things like this.
