COPS at COP
We were the victims of a MAJOR mishap during COP-8. It’s commonsense that in order to
attend the conference, we needed passes, and to get our passes we need to enter Vigyan
Bhawan! However, the Delhi Police does not think so. We were asked to show our passes and
were not allowed to get even into the registration counter to get them. The UN guards
luckily were around to help them see sense!SHOOING
AWAY ‘EQUITY’
On Oct 25, again we were in trouble. This time some UN guards were not willing to let us
in because we had worn "equity" T-shirts and were protesting against Bush.Talk
about democracy! |
