I WANT TO SHARE

Hey folks,

What an amazingly powerful species we human beings are! Just think about it. As we evolved, we have constantly tried to change this planet, in a way that suits our needs. And look what we have managed to do…changed the composition of atmosphere, made rivers flow the way we want them to, altered landscapes, created food and habitats that never existed before!

In fact, we are so powerful that we can decide the future of all other species in the world.

If you don’t believe me take a look at our latest and most astounding creation till date — cities. Darwin and the other 19th century naturalists would scratch their heads in confusion if they were made to study this new ‘urban ecosystem’. Because none of their principles seems to work here! As we city folks grow in number — we use more energy than we can produce, gobble up more land. And drive out every other species and organisms to find more space for ourselves.

Birds are one of them. As Gobar Times will tell you in this issue.

But hey, if we are the most dominant species on earth, we also have the power to change all this. To ensure that— not only the birds, but the animals, the plants — survive. Simply by making up our minds to share our space with them once again. Think about it….
